A fascinating portrait.
My only nit-picking is that I personally find it even more appealing to the eye when the top part of the frame were cropped, where it shows a bit of background beyond the edge of the hat. That little patch seems to take away from the very gravitating focus of the mask, and most of all the shapes framing the empty eyes.
